The former first lady of Ivory coast,Simone Gbagbo also known as "iron lady" of Ivory coast has been sentenced to 20year imprisonment over post election violence.
It is believed that more than 3,000 died in the ensuing violence when the then President Laurent Gbagbo refused to accept his defeat to Alassane Quattara in the December 2010 presidential elections.
On Monday,Simone Gbagbo the former first lady said "she did not know exactly what the concrete actions are that I am being accused of" insisting that her husband won the elections legitimately in the 2010 elections.
