The former first lady of Ivory coast,Simone Gbagbo also known as "iron lady" of Ivory coast has been sentenced to 20year imprisonment over post election violence.
It is believed that more than 3,000 died in the ensuing violence when the then President Laurent Gbagbo refused to accept his defeat to Alassane Quattara in the December 2010 presidential elections.
