DIVORCE--15 YEARS OF ADULTEROUS ENDURANCE SAYS REV ANITA OYAKHILOME

Anita Oyakhilome, the frustrated wife of Nigeria’s most influential preacher, Chris Oyakhilome has obviously passed through 15 years of adulterous endurance and what she needs is our prayers and protective respect and defense of her choices to forget all the anti-rhapsody of heartbreak she endured all these years.

Fifteen (15) years of being abandoned by a preacher husband is not an easy way of life for a preacher’s wife. Fifteen (15) years of hearing that some mini skirted daughters of Jezebel have taken over your possession is not a joke. Fifteen years of a husband not staying with the wife for up to a week on a stretch, while spending time with some double breasted figure eight(ed) daughters of eve is not an easy thing to swallow. 15 years of being used as a showcase to make church members believe in Rhapsodies of Blissful Union, while dying in silence, is not a palatable experience for any woman.

Fifteen years of being called Mama, Mummy, and other glorified names of Senior Pastor’s wife while some domestic harems sneer at the same Mummy behind is not a sweet experience. For goodness sake, this woman never probably had a good kiss in fifteen years and yet she is being accused of carnality for crying out loud. She was continually being led into temptation of seeking for sexual satisfaction from outside for fifteen years and she managed to escape the traps of sin.

Fifteen years when their two lovely daughters would wake up and ask their mother why Dad had not cared to visit, and she would have to release a lie to stave off the frequent probing questions. Above all, fifteen years when Anita had to fake that all is well with their marriage, while she is actually dying emotionally. Every person she complained to among the pastoral cadre sided with the man, and she was left alone to bear her cross.

I warned some pastor friends with Christ Embassy early 2013 that they had better settle this marriage rift between Oga and his wife before it destroys the church. The same pastors have called me to express regret that a national embarrassment has ensued.

We keep hearing different stories day after day. Well, we wish pastor CHRIS and Rev Anita the very best in life. We always remember them in our prayers!!

Remember to say a prayer for them.Cause i strongly believe the devil has really crept in so that he can ruin Pastor Chris ministry.
What are your views?? Lets get talking.

MISS MALAIKA:THE HUNT FOR A NEW QUEEN

The organisers of Miss Malaika beauty pageant, Charter House, have announced that GH-One TV will on August 24 air the Miss Malaika audition series which was held at the GH-One studios in Accra.
The Miss Malaika audition series attracted hundreds of beautiful young ladies from various parts of the country, who showed up for a shot at what has now become Ghana’s most valued beauty reality TV show.
The pageant is produced as a 13-week reality show, which shows the search for a Ghanaian representative for the Miss Malaika continental competition. It was the first beauty pageant show to be aired as a reality series in Ghana.
From the conception of the Miss Malaika beauty pageant, it has been presented to the audience as a reality TV show, which allows for the viewers to vote for their favourite contestant to be crowned Miss Malaika Ghana.
Each week, the contestants are given tasks to perform which range from performances to organising events.
According to the organisers, 16 ladies would eventually emerge out of the process to compete in the nearly 13 weeks of intensive competition. Watching the ladies eagerly join the audition train, one wonders why so many young ladies find the Miss Malaika pageant an excellent avenue to explore their potentials.
It has been observed that the Malaika contest acts as a finishing school for many of these young ladies who enter the competition. The weekly tasks and the activities planned around the pageant especially the international tourism opportunity has certainly acted as a pull factor for the many beautiful young women. The Miss Malaika pageant is still the only pageant in Ghana that sends the 10 finalists on an exciting international trip.
The pageant, in its 12th year, has seen the crowning of some of the most brilliant ladies as queens including Hamamat Montia, Laurie Naa Lamle Lawson, Dr Tamara Aku Dzormeku, Ama Nettey, Jeraldine Parttinton and the current reigning queen, Naa Oyo Quartey.

Hiplife Grandpapa,
Reggie Rockstone has disclosed that at the peak of his music career, he was a big fan rapper Obrafour.
According to him, contrary to perceptions, there is nothing strange about an artiste being a big fan of fellow artiste.

Credited for starting the Hiplife genre in Ghana, Reggie Rockstone stated on microblogging site Twitter Wednesday that “another thing I have noticed with a lot of Ghanaian folks is that they find it strange based on the way they are that an artist can be a big fan of another!”

CONTROVERSIES ARISING FROM SARKODIE's LATEST HIT SINGLE.

With his newest single released last week titled Free Press, Sarkodie seems to have gone the full distance in throwing insults at the media in Ghana. He takes the media to the cleaners in a way that perhaps no Ghanaian artist has ever done, not even Shatta Wale, DKB or Bull Dog.
In his song, Free Press, Sarkodie demonstrates his own “freedom of the press” to launch a multi-pronged scathing attack on  the Ghanaian media whom he accuses of being mediocre and not doing enough to support artistes.
He also laments how the media tends to focus solely on the negative side of artistes’ careers instead of promoting their positives.
In the song, which was recorded over the instrumental of Busta Rhymes’, Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Can See, Sarkodie sings about the frustrations he has encountered working with the Ghanaian media and criticises them for their lack of ambition.

He raps on the song that the media has developed a pull-him-down attitude, and asks them to emulate the late Komla Dumor, whom he praised for using his (Komla Dumor) influence at the BBC to get him on a show on that television network.
“Since Kwame Nkrumah we are proud of nothing else; daa pull me down cos negativity sells; they don’t f**k with me cos me I know them really well. Only give you interviews to show you how I really felt”, he raps on the song.
The, multiple award winner, says in the song that he is speaking on behalf of all Ghanaian artistes and tells the media bluntly to “get off his back” since they have done nothing to support him throughout his career. He attributes his success to his own  hard work and the support he receives from his fans.
“Listen I’m a poor boy coming from the street, all I have is my fans and the flows on the beat. Obi firi ne kurom beyé biribia yé hu no huge, we are looking for superstars but we still sleeping on fuse, how? That’s international,” he says.
Sarkodie, whose resentment is apparent in his tone throughout the song condemns the opinions of panelists on television entertainment review shows describing their comments as “silly views.”
He challenges the media to put their money where their mouth is, adding that  entertainment show panellists who accuse him of not performing on bigger platforms, should themselves aspire to host shows on big platforms such as MTV.
“I go through the stress and you still have the guts to tell me I perform for cleaners, blacks, what the f**k is wrong with you. I did it on my own,” he says.

But in an interview with Sarkodie’s manager, Sammy Forson, he predcictably rallies to the support of his artiste  by saying that  the issues Sarkodie raise in his song were not peculiar to Sarkodie alone but it was a general problem faced by most artistes in the country.
He explained that the song was not targeted only at the negative elements in the media. He said that Sarkodie was not  trying to pick a fight with the media but rather he was being blunt and letting the media know his  views.
“Artistes are creative people and so derive their energies from the environment in which they reside, so if all they face is constant negativity it becomes hard for them to continue with their work,” he added.
He questioned why some elements in the media did not seek clarification from Sarkodie or other artistes whenever they had rumors about artistes but instead rush to publish these as facts.
Sammy Forson compared the situation in Ghana to what pertains in Nigeria where, he said, the media throw their weight behind local artists and asked the Ghanaian media to emulate that example.

Sarkodie real name, Michael Owusu Addo, is a multiple award winning hip life artiste who has worked with some of the biggest names in the Ghanaian music industry. He is the first Ghanaian rapper to win the BET Award for the “Best International Act (Africa) and has performed on some of the biggest international platforms with international artistes like Jay-Z, T-pain, Chipmunk among others.
